About Us

ActNow Foundation is a 501c3 Not-For-Profit Company

ActNow Mission Statement:
ActNow Foundation is a theatre & film organization, which focuses on the minority experience in the United States. By providing a home for ethnically and racially diverse artists, we take audiences on a journey that enriches their cultural background. ActNow delves into stories about race, love, family, cultural differences, self-empowerment, the corporate world, and the toils and aspirations of the working, middle and upper classes. Through these stories, ActNow shows that although human life experiences can be very different, we all share the same human struggle for survival, and no matter what our race or creed, we are all one.

ActNow Current Programs:
ANF has two current programs, the “ANF Short Film Collective”, which is a monthly short film screening series of films from the African Diaspora, Latino community & others. Also, the “Monologue Monorail Jam” a twice a year monologue slam at BRIC Studio, showcases diversity within New York City.
