The screenings are held quarterly at our new venue, Littlefield 622 Degraw Street, Brooklyn, New York 11217. Featuring the works of rising filmmakers and actors. The Collective's mission is to give these artists a public venue for their work and an opportunity to receive feedback and support for their projects. The Collective's screenings draw film aficionados as well as corporate and creative professionals. ActNow is currently seeking plays for the upcoming 2010 – 2011 season. We are looking for plays that cover a full range of experiences affecting Blacks in America and beyond. Scripts should be provocative, enlightening, and relevant, with subjects ranging from relationships, love, sex, history, race, and our political climate. ActNow is dedicated to showcasing the African Diaspora and all submitted scripts should reflect our mission. Full-length plays should be no longer than one hundred minutes and no more than eight characters. One-act plays should not exceed thirty-five minutes.
